What is The Music Move?

Themusicmove.co.uk is a directory of businesses and groups that can offer bands and businesses with accessable and affordable marketing opportunities. We would like to develop associates by working with businesses, bands and venues that offer products / services that are geared to promote less well resourced bands. For a small sum of £5.00 per month, you will be provided with a web page giving brief information about who you are and what you can offer. Your contact details and a web site hyperlink will be added to enable bands and musicians to contact you directly to enquire on how you could help them. This money will also be completely donated to a charitable cause. |

- generated from this site for the foreseeable future will be directed towards charitable causes we wish to donate to. The first of these being Guide Dogs. ( FACTS on guidedogs.org - It costs £5 per day to support each working guide dog partnership. 10,500 blind and partially sighted in the UK could benefit from a guide dog, 11 Children lose their sight every week. The lifetime cost of a guide dog is around £50,000 - £11,400 supporting partnerships, £2,400 Breeding guide dog puppies, £4,300 Puppy Walking, £13,400 Guide Dog Training, £12,900 Advanced Training, £3,400 Partnership Training ) |

first goal in this new venture is to raise £300.00 per month from
businesses participating in one of our most standard of services. This will be
donated
directly towards supporting our first charity which is guidedogs.org. Depending
upon how the following months proceed, we will be making a donation based on a
percentage of our income and identifying other charitable causes to donate to. We are also hoping to raise funds through general member donations, fund raising activities, sponsorship and the introduction of new services into themusicmove.
