Just a little bit about Trad!! 

Trad Music is mainly run by Nick Howarth (Proprietor, Musican/Guitar Tech) and Terry John (Shop Manager & founder member of the Welsh T Band).  It is one of Wakefield's longest running music shops, and one of the biggest members of the local music scene. Always willing to offer support - Trad Music have been a main sponsor for the Clarence Park Music Festival event for the past 9 years and are actively involved in the running of The Acoustic Cabaret held monthly at The Red Shed in Wakefield.

We carry stock of many famous brands, such as Fender, Gibson, Duesenberg, Ibanez, BC Rich, Richwood, Tanglewood, Indie, Vintage, Samik, G & L, Martin, Ayres, Walden, Ovation, Tascam, Zoom, Epiphone, Carlsboro, Ashdown, Hartke, Marshall... the list is endless!

We also specialise in Folk Music & Instruments, and house "Allathea" Instrument Makers and Repairs, which offer a repair service on electric, bass and acoustic guitars, violin, mandolin and banjos - in fact ALL string instruments.

As well as our excellent Instrument Maintenance and Set-up service we offer repairs to Transistor and Valve Amplification. We also offer PA Hire, Mail Order (free delivery to Mainland UK), Educational School Demonstrations & Workshops.
